HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAUNTLET

Eleven years ago on July 4th 2007 the Gauntlet opened its doors for the first time as a shopping Thoroughfare.
The Gauntlet has become the Flag ship of the Town and established itself as the leading provider of Retail shops with a niche for the starter Business who wish to dip their toe into business or alternatively ideal for the seasoned Entrepreneur.
On July 4th it was the Gauntlets 11 th Anniversary. Throughout those eleven years ,the Gauntlet has continued to thrive, continually learning in the process.
From 2008 -2012 we successfully traded through what was arguably the deepest recession in living memory. Having survived the recession, we have since already experienced the affects of the referendum in June 2016 along with the most recent article 50 trigger from the exit of the EU. We are now bracing ourselves for what could be a turbulent few years during the negotiation process of leaving the EU.
The Gauntlet remains confident that we can once again tackle any adverse affects of Brexit and continue to thrive. We are confident that with our unique positioning between the Town centre and the Car park, and our competitive rates we will effectively manage any challenge that lies ahead.
We have commemorated the 11 years with a new plaque in the style of a shield and is situated at the car park end of the the Gauntlet.
